The Green Eye optical sorting system was created by Peter Mendre. His optical sorting equipment has successfully identified and classified every type of material ever tested on it. “It sees everything!” Mendre says. The following materials have been identified and successfully sorted using optical sorting: plastics made from plants, colored and natural HDPE, PVC, ABS, PET, brick chips, stone, painted and natural wood, creosol wood, tile, white and colored ledger, box board, newspaper, rubber, resins, copper, aluminum, steel, glass, ceramics, circuit boards, and much more.
