Provect - Model OX - Self Activating ISCO-Enhanced Bioremediation Reagent - Brochure

Provect-OX is an in situ chemical oxidation (ISCO) + enhanced bioremediation technology that combines persulfate with ferric iron in a single, premixed package. The persulfate is activated by ferric iron to create strong oxidizers including the sulfate radical and ferrate (Fe ^{+4 to +6}) that can address a wide variety of organic compounds present in impacted soil, sediment and groundwater, including chlorinated solvents, petroleum hydrocarbons, and pesticides. This built-in activation method eliminates the need for traditional activation chemistries (e.g., hydrogen peroxide and sodium hydroxide) that have associated health, safety, and handling concerns.
