Pellets shall be formed from a combina-tion of activated alumina and other binders, suit-ably impregnated with sodium permanganate toprovide optimum adsorption, absorption andoxidation of a wide variety of gaseous contami-nants. The Purafil SP Series has been specially engineeredto contain more permanganate (the active ingredient) for increased removalcapacity, allowing the media to remain more available for removal of targetgases.
