The separator forms the central part of a REDOMA cable recycling plant. The REDOMA separators have three or more outlets, separating the granulated cable into metal, insulation and an intermediate fraction that contains granules where the insulation is still sticking to the copper wire. This middling fraction is continuously fed back for re-granulation guarantying a maximum purity of copper and a minimal loss of copper in the plastic fraction.
