TECHNICAL DATA SHEET140402SCAN2E(supersedes -140219SCAN1E) DESCRIPTION SOPRASMART BOARD 180 is a high performance high density support panel composed of SBS modified bitumen membrane with a non-woven polyester reinforcement, factory-laminated on asphaltic board (SOPRABOARD). The surface is covered with a thermofusible plastic film.INSTALLATIONBITUMENSOPRASMART BOARD 180 panel is intalled in a bed of hot bitumen applied with a mop.ADHESIVESOPRASMART BOARD 180 panel is adhered with adhesive COLTACK or DUOTACK.MECHANICALLY FASTENEDSOPRASMART BOARD 180 panel is mechanically fastened to steel deck with SOPRAFIX screws and plates.• Mechanical fasteners must be installed on the distinctive line of the membrane side selvedge.• On a steel deck, fasteners must be installed on the upper part of the steel ribs. Install membranes perpendicular to the ribs.For more details about the required number of adhesive or mechanical fasteners, consult the Wind Uplift Resistance Testing reports according to Canadian standard CSA A123.21-10 or publications according to FM 4470 (RoofNav Database) including recommendations for corners and perimeters listed in the PLPDS 1-29 from Factory Mutual.DUO SELVEDGEOver the entire width of DUO SELVEDGE, 60 % of the surface is self-adhesive, which protects components under the base sheet.
