These are encased in the top of the barrier fabric, creating a continuous float line. These are segregated into segments placed end- to-end, with minimal separations between billets to allow folding for shipment and storage. Fabric: Impermeable Style 13 oz. Reinforced PVC Fabric Seams & Seals: All seams are thermally welded or sewn as appropriate. Section Connectors: Vertical ends connect together via HD zip ties every 12” OC through reinforced grommets. Anchor Points: Anchor points are reinforced grommet at each end at the waterline. Discuss anchoring options with technical staff prior to installation. Ballast & Lower Tension Member: Ballast is provided by 3/16 inch, galvanized steel chain which enclosed in fabric sleeve at the bottom of the skirt.
