Epoxytec Uroflex 61 is a two component, 100% solid urethane-modified-epoxy (UME) hybrid coating and/or lining system specifically designed for utilization in potable, drinking water environments- certified by UL to NSF/ANSI Standard 61. Uroflex 61 possesses the advantages of both a polyurethane and epoxy together as one technology – having the superior adhesion, tolerance and strength of an epoxy, yet combined with the flexibility (tensile elongation of 38%), gloss, and impact resistance of a urethane. This hybrid technology is unique and proprietary. Uroflex 61 is formulated to “green,” environmentally friendly, 100% solid (no VOCs, no solvent). The Uroflex 61 coating system is easy-to-apply by spray, brush, or roller (1:1). Uroflex 61 self-levels, and can be applied up to 65 mils DFT. For long-term maintainability, the Uroflex 61 system it ties back into itself indefinitely.
