In this age of the "internet of things", a number of companies worldwide (most of them start-ups) are offering various wall-mount or table-top boxes full of low cost sensors for monitoring IAQ. Some are marketing fixed sensors for demand control ventilation (DCV) designed to control ventilation rates, typically based on carbon dioxide (C02) concentrations.
