The next edition of IFAT India will take place in Mumbai from September 28 - 30, 2016 at Bombay Exhibition Centre (BEC). The event, will be covering more than 6,000 sqm of exhibition space, more than 140 exhibitors from 16 countries will be displaying the latest products, technologies and solutions and attract more than 5,500 trade visitors.
Once again, it will showcase a high-class supporting program including workshops, panel discussions and live demonstrations in a realistic working situation held by national and international experts from the industries, environmental associations and municipal sectors. Special focus on Waste to Energy showcasing innovations and solutions for challenges in the Indian market.

The promotional tour of IFAT India had its first stop in New Delhi on 14th July 2016 at Shangri-La's - Eros Hotel. The next stop was in Ahmedabad on 5th August 2016 at Crown Plaza Hotel. In continuation, the next stop is planned in Bangalore on 30th August, 2016 at The Park Hotel.
Accompanying the countdown to IFAT India 2016, further events are planned in Pune on 2nd September 2016, Chennai on 9th September 2016 and finally in Mumbai on 16th September 2016.

One of our main objectives is, to inspire practitioners and decision makers and to share knowledge and experiences on reliable, approved and innovative environmental technologies.
The focus topics in 2016 represents the most relevant and most up-to date fields in the Indian Water-, Waste- and Resource Management sector. Concrete knowledge will be provided through key note speeches, high class panel discussions and presentations. But before starting into concrete topics, two upstreamed VIP high level segment discussions will provide interesting insights on challenges and strategies in India.
Due to the very positive feedback from exhibitors and visitors on the university challenge and the skills demonstration in 2015 this format will be continued and incorporated in IFAT India 2016 as a special 'Active Learning Center'.

As a special and in order to facilitate bilateral cooperation and enhance communications between Chinese and Indian Industries, the Foreign Economic Cooperation Office, Ministry of Environmental Protection (MEP/FECO) and MMI India Pvt. ltd. have decided to organize the first Sino-Indian Environmental Protection Technology and Industry Dialogue within in the framework of IFAT India on Sep. 28th, 2016 in Mumbai. The expected outcome of this event is a matchmaking between India and Chinese companies to promote mutually beneficial efforts for environmental initiatives and growth of the environmental sector.
