For the 19th time, UPW Micro 2016 brings together leading experts in water treatment for microelectronics to discuss challenges and find innovative solutions in the production and water management for semiconductor manufacturing. This year UPW Micro focuses on end-users’ needs, and we are excited to have you join us in Austin to explore problems that end-users confront at fabs and to look for answers that meet the demands of a rapidly evolving industry.
As the industry becomes more conscious about water conservation and wastewater treatment, UPW Micro again devotes a second track to exploring these issues with the Water Management Strand. There are whispers about the end of Moore’s Law—true or false, it is not the end of innovation. We believe that the industry will need increasingly efficient and ingenuitive water systems. Thanks to the tremendous support of the conference’s co-moderators, the technical program for UPW Micro 2016 spans issues and applications across the whole facility to address this.
We hope you are as thrilled as we are to be in Austin this year. Not only is it the Silicon Hills of the U.S., but it is also a vibrant music and culinary hub. Together with the UPW Micro Sponsors we are excited to share with you the sounds and flavors of Austin.
Thank you for attending UPW Micro 2016. We hope that you will engage in many exciting discussions, meet new people, and help the industry find innovative solutions to bring renewed vigor back to your workplaces. UPW Micro will return to Portland in 2017 to discuss how products and equipment manufacturers can better meet end-users’ needs. We look forward to seeing you there and to continuing the dialogues that will begin this year.
