Landmark Information Group has expanded its Envirocheck service with the launch of the Envirocheck Geology Report, reinforcing Landmark`s position in the market as the one stop shop for all environmental, geological, planning and mapping information.
Delivered within 24 hours and available for just £15, the Envirocheck Geology Report provides environmental consultants, engineers and planners with the fastest and most cost effective means of assessing the geology of sites. Delivering instant access to 1:50,000 geological mapping for the whole of Great Britain, the report is an invaluable tool in assisting with contaminated land appraisal and foundation design.
Compiled from information provided by the British Geological Survey, the comprehensive A4 report features four maps which identify artificial ground and landslip, superficial geology, bedrock and faults, and combined `surface geology` geological layers.
Available as a PDF or paper copy, the Envirocheck Geology Report will be sold as an additional component of the existing Envirocheck Report, the standard desktop study tool for fast and accurate environmental site assessments.
Comprising of three main sections: Site Sensitivity Maps, Data Sheets and Historical Maps, Envirocheck provides high quality, site-specific environmental information with access to comprehensive Ordnance Survey current and historical mapping.
Commenting on the new reports, Richard Pawlyn, Managing Director of Landmark Information Group`s Property & Environment Division said: `The Envirocheck Geology Report provides the ideal compliment to the full Envirocheck Report, saving environmental professionals both time and money as they can now access all the information that they need from one central resource. As the UK`s market leader, it`s vital that we stay one step ahead with the provision of innovative, ground breaking products which continue to exceed our customers` expectations and needs.`
One of Landmark Information Group`s long standing customer`s, Sarah Penry, Principal, ENVIRON, commented: `The Envirocheck Geology Report will be invaluable information allowing detailed assessment of the ground structure and potential for movement of contamination not just into aquifers and rivers, but also importantly across site ownership boundaries.`
