QED Environmental Systems Expands Italian Reach With New Distribution Partner

Q.E.D. Environmental Systems, Inc., a leading manufacturer of innovative environmental products and subsidiary of Graco Inc. (NYSE: GGG), announces the appointment of Recom Industriale S.r.I (Recom) as a new distribution partner for the Italian natural gas leak detection market.

Recom will distribute QED’s complete portfolio of Huberg portable and vehicle-based gas detection instrumentation products, including the Metrex and Laser One series of portable natural gas analysers.

Established in Genoa in 1996, Recom Industriale S.r.I (Recom) specialises in the supply of instruments for natural gas leak detection and personal protection applications. The company offers comprehensive customer support service, including a dedicated diagnostics laboratory to identify faults and calibrate instruments before they are dispatched to customers.

Recom will co-ordinate service activity for natural gas leak detection applications for gas distribution network operators for both mobile and walking surveys. The company’s remit also extends to water leak detection through the use of tracer gases by water utility companies and first responders reacting to reported gas leaks to help ensure a safe environment.
