The Ultrasonic Anemometer 3D serves for the 3-dimensional acquisition of the horizontal and vertical components of the wind velocity, the wind direction as well as of the acoustic-virtual temperature. The ultrasonic measurement principle allows, compared to the classic anemometers, an inertia-free measurement of running variable dimensions with highest precision and accuracy. It is especially suitable for the measurement of gust- and peak values.
