ABCODissolved Air Flotation (DAF) Plant

SHARE

A Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) plant is a type of water treatment equipment used for the separation and removal of suspended solids, oils and grease, and other contaminants from water or wastewater. The process works by infusing water with dissolved air, creating bubbles that attach to contaminants, buoying them to the surface for removal, including particles with low settling velocities and substances with low densities such as oils and greases. ABCO Water’s Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) plants are used for reducing high levels of Total Suspended Solids (TSS) and turbidity, oil and grease, and other contaminants. DAF plants can be either stand-alone or as part of a complete treatment system as pre or post treatment to other technologies. Dissolved Air Flotation are widely used in all industries due to their ability to remove a wide range of contaminants and achieve high quality treated water.
