Equipment and pre and post treatment is selected based on both raw water quality and treated water quality requirements.

ABCO - Model RO-NF - Reverse Osmosis - Nanofiltration

ABCO Water designs and manufactures a range of fully customisable Reverse Osmosis plants, all of which are engineered using advanced 3D computer modelling and process design software. Equipment and pre and post treatment is selected based on both raw water quality and treated water quality requirements.

Demineralisation (Ultrapure Water)

ABCO - Electro Deionisation (EDI)

Electro Deionisation (EDI) is a water purification technology that combines ion exchange and electrochemical processes to remove ions and impurities from water. In an EDI system, water flows between ion exchange membranes and electrodes under the influence of an electric field. Weakly ionised materials, like dissolved silica, carbon dioxide, boron and some organics are also removed. ABCO Water’s Electro Deionisation (EDI) plants are typically installed downstream of a Reverse Osmosis – Brackish Water (RO-BW) plant and are used to produce Ultrapure Water. EDI is now widely used as a replacement for existing standalone Ion Exchange resin systems due to its many advantages.

ABCO - Mixed Bed Resin (MB)

ABCO Water designs and manufactures a range of fully customisable Mixed Bed Resin plants, all of which are engineered using advanced 3D computer modelling and process design software. Equipment and pre and post treatment is selected based on both raw water quality and treated water quality requirements.

Filtration

ABCO - Media Filtration (MF)

ABCO Water designs and manufactures a range of fully customisable Media Filtration plants, all of which are engineered using advanced 3D computer modelling and process design software. Equipment and pre and post treatment is selected based on both raw water quality and treated water quality requirements.

ABCO - Ultrafiltration (UF) Membrane-based Separation Process System

Ultrafiltration (UF) is a membrane-based separation process used to remove suspended solids, bacteria, viruses, and large molecules from water. It operates on the principle of size exclusion, where a semi-permeable membrane with precise pore sizes allows only small molecules to pass through while blocking larger particles. The typical degree of filtration is 0.01-0.1 micron depending on membrane selection. ABCO Water’s Ultrafiltration (UF) plants are used for reducing Total Suspended Solids (TSS) and turbidity. UF plants can be either stand-alone or as part of a complete treatment system as pre or post treatment to other technologies.

Clarification

ABCO - Lamella Clarifier (LC) Plant

A Lamella Clarifier (LC) plant, also known as an inclined plate settler or inclined plate clarifier, is a type of water treatment equipment used for the separation and removal of suspended solids from water or wastewater. The lamella clarifier employs a series of inclined plates or tubes to increase the settling area and enhance the sedimentation process. ABCO Water’s Lamella Clarifier (LC) plants are used for reducing high levels of Total Suspended Solids (TSS) and turbidity. LC plants can be either stand-alone or as part of a complete treatment system as pre or post treatment to other technologies. Lamella Clarifiers are widely used in all industries due to their efficiency in solids removal, compact footprint, and ease of operation.

ABCO - Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) Plant

A Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) plant is a type of water treatment equipment used for the separation and removal of suspended solids, oils and grease, and other contaminants from water or wastewater. The process works by infusing water with dissolved air, creating bubbles that attach to contaminants, buoying them to the surface for removal, including particles with low settling velocities and substances with low densities such as oils and greases. ABCO Water’s Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) plants are used for reducing high levels of Total Suspended Solids (TSS) and turbidity, oil and grease, and other contaminants. DAF plants can be either stand-alone or as part of a complete treatment system as pre or post treatment to other technologies. Dissolved Air Flotation are widely used in all industries due to their ability to remove a wide range of contaminants and achieve high quality treated water.

Disinfection and Dosing

ABCO - Sodium Hypochlorite Dosing (SHD) Plants

ABCO Water’s Sodium Hypochlorite Dosing (SHD) plants are used to disinfect water or wastewater in a storage tank by maintaining the required level of free chlorine for effective disinfection. The contents of the tank are recirculated with online monitoring of free chlorine and residual trim dosing of sodium hypochlorite to maintain an adjustable set point. SHD plants can be either stand-alone or as part of a complete treatment system as pre or post treatment to other technologies. Sodium hypochlorite disinfection is widely used in various applications, including industrial and municipal water and wastewater treatment. It is valued for its effectiveness, affordability, and ease of use, making it a preferred choice for disinfection in many settings.
