ABCO Water designs and manufactures a range of fully customisable Mixed Bed Resin plants, all of which are engineered using advanced 3D computer modelling and process design software. Equipment and pre and post treatment is selected based on both raw water quality and treated water quality requirements.
Mixed Bed Resin (MB) is a type of ion exchange resin used for water purification, particularly in applications where extremely high purity water is required. Unlike conventional ion exchange resins, which contain either cation or anion exchange sites, mixed bed resins contain both cation and anion exchange sites in a single resin bed.
ABCO Water’s Mixed Bed Resin (MB) plants are typically installed downstream of a Reverse Osmosis – Brackish Water (RO-BW) plant and are used to produce Ultrapure Water. We offer non-regenerable resins as a final polishing step to achieve the highest level of water purity possible.
