ACEModel MC33 to MC64 -Industrial Shock Absorbers for High Energy Absorption

SHARE

The MC33 to MC64 series of industrial shock absorbers by ACE Stoßdämpfer GmbH offer high energy absorption up to 5,650 Nm per stroke with stroke lengths ranging from 23.1 mm to 150 mm. These self-adjusting shock absorbers are designed to handle velocities between 0.15 m/s and 5 m/s and can operate in temperatures from -12 °C to +66 °C, with custom temperature ranges available upon request. The absorbers can be mounted in various orientations and feature an integrated hard stop. Constructed with tenifer-hardened steel bodies and hard-chromed steel pistons, they ensure durability and resistance to corrosion. They employ automatic transmission fluid as a damping medium, suitable for applications in linear slides, rotary tables, handling modules, and more. Custom options, such as special oils, enhanced corrosion protection, and nickel plating, are available. Noise reduction accessories with special impact heads can decrease noise levels by 3 dB to 7 dB, enhancing operational environments.

State-of-the-art damper technology: The combination of the latest sealing technology, hardened guide bearing, and integrated positive stop make these self-adjusting shock absorbers from the MAGNUM series from ACE so successful. Users benefit from the longer service life of the products,

even in the most challenging environments. A continuous external thread and extensive accessories contribute to the success of the MC33 to MC64. In practice, high energy absorption in a compact design and a wide damping range also lead to significant advantages. In addition to overall more compact designs, these small but extremely powerful dampers also enable the full utilization of machine performance.

These self-adjusting industrial shock absorbers are used in all areas of mechanical engineering – particularly in automation and gantries.
