Nordson BKG - Model EDI Ultraflow V-T -Adjustable Geometry Feedblocks
Reduce production downtime for fine-tuning layer thicknesses of structures ranging from the simplest sheet to complex packaging films with the EDI Ultraflow™ V-T coextrusion feedblock. This feedblock has adjustable “combining planes” located where the melt streams join the central flow channel.
The Ultraflow™ V-T is our most advanced coextrusion feedblock design. Since debuting at the K 2016 trade show, this feedblock has become a trusted system for producers looking to expand their production capabilities.

Adjustable geometry designs allow producers to make quick changes to their product with minimal impact on their output. Whereas fixed geometry feedblocks require a production line to be stopped to change layer ratios or structures, an adjustable geometry feedblock provides the opportunity to make adjustments without fully stopping the extrusion process.

- Arrange Layer Sequences: Selector spools, optional in the design, enable layer sequence arrangements to be preset upstream of the feedblock’s combing point
- Create Uniform Layers: Profiling actuators, with interchangeable profile bars, are installed to finely tune individual layers
- Establish Entrance Locations: Customizable for each specific installation, creating flexibility in the line design and layout
