Ambientalia AmbiSystem and AmbiPress - Aerobic Waste Treatment Plant
Systems for the aerobic stabilisation and accelerated maturation of organic material. Designed for utilities, municipalities, landfills and/or composting plant managers and owners. AmbiSystem is an aerobic waste treatment plant. Relocatable and modular, developed and patented by Ambientalia, it is intended for the aerobic stabilisation of separately collected urban waste and the production of compost from organic matter and vegetable waste.
AmbiPress is a ‘bagging’ machine that completes the AmbiSystem by forming biotunnels and inserting the material inside them
- Being both relocatable and modular, the system does not require the construction of expensive warehouses. It can be installed outdoors, under a shelter, on a waterproofed slab or on the properly prepared final covering of exhausted landfills.
- It significantly limits the environmental impact of harmful atmospheric emissions and effectively reduces biomass weight by 25% - 30%.
- Laboratory analysis demonstrates the effective stabilisation of waste with a dynamic respiration index expressed in mg O2 kg SV-1 h-1 <1.000
- With AmbiSystem, stabilisation occurs naturally without the use of chemical additives, achieving what occurs in nature over a much longer timespan.
Italian Law Decree 36 of 13th January 2003 and subsequent amendments state that urban waste may no longer be deposited ‘as is’ in landfills but must first undergo a specific stabilisation/sanitation process.
AmbiSystem is an aerobic Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) treatment system developed to fulfil this requirement in compliance with the laws in force.
