Afton - Model HPV -High Pressure Vertical Pump

Primary use is high pressure applications on pipelines and in-plant services. The HPV is recommended for pulsationless process requirements with differential heads between 2,500 and 9,000 feet.

Design advantages are numerous. Flow pattern allows only one stage differential pressure across any wear ring or interstage bushing.

• One piece fabricated discharge head standard
• Spacer coupling
• Single stuffing box with metal to metal design
• Cartridge mounted mechanical seal
• One piece stainless steel shaft with no steps or shoulders
• Independently key mounted  impellers "O" ring (or confined gasket) sealed volute assembly
• Series flow bottom suction design with no interstage cross-overs
• Stages may be added or subtracted or impeller pattern changed without extensive modification
