Afton - Model ILV, ILVS, and ILVS-B -Vertical Process Pumps
Afton vertical in-line centrifugal pumps are compact and simple to install. These pumps eliminate standard pump foundations, simplify thermal expansion calculations and reduce pipe strain from temperature extremes.
Straight through flow lines require only one critical mounting dimension. Field installation and foundation expense is held to a minimum.
Recommended for all in-plant petrochemical process services with flow rates to 4,000 GPM and differential pressures to 750 feet.
Afton has many installations with years of operating time where suction pressures exceed 1,000 PSI and temperatures exceed 600 F.
Model ILVS is spacer coupled for simplified seal repair. Specifically, the ILVS pump is used for such services as pumping presaturated lean oil, boiler feed circulation, heat transfer medium circulation, tower bottoms, ethane process service and circulation of hot oil.
Afton was among the first to introduce the heavy duty in-line vertical process design. And Afton has been among the first with modifications and innovations.
The Model ILVS pump has been marketed since 1962. Like all Afton pumps, the ILVS models have been proven performers in the field.
The hydraulic and mechanical features of the pump provide continuing reliability.
Afton pumps are designed in compliance with API-610 8th Edition specifications.
