AGROMECH - RDF Drying Lines
AGROMECH for drying wet RDF offers mobile drum dryer , built on the basis of modernized SB 1,5 dryer. The heat source is drying gas oven with OILON gas burner with max. thermal power of 2,300 kW, supplied with GZ-50 natural gas. The heating medium is a mixture of hot air and exhaust gases produced during the combustion process in the gas furnace. The execution of gas path and its bringing to the gas furnace burner with an appropriate gas working pressure is the responsibility of the Ordering Party.
The Ordering Party is also responsible for production and delivery to the drum dryer the properly grinded and prepared RDF which meets the general conditions of quality and its free from chemical contaminants, such as solvents, paints, varnishes and adhesives and mechanical impurities in the form of metal, sand, stones, glass, etc.
In case of using and drying the material which does not meet the specified quality parameters for which the manufacturer of the dryer has no influence, the manufacturer of the device takes no responsibility for the performance and durability of drying equipment.
Drying plant should be sited in the appropriate production hall, on the previously prepared concrete slab in the standard of industrial floor. Hall, in turn, should be made as lightweight construction, covered with trapezoidal metal sheet, sealed and free from external dust, along with the necessary ventilation and air exchange provided for factories where the grinded RDF is produced.
Before use, the customer is being familiarized with the principles of operation of the drum dryer, the specificity of the operation and maintenance of equipment, produced factions and external effects and impact on the environment.
Thanks to the high efficiency and versatility and the growing demand imposed by cement and power plants for various kinds of biomass or alternative fuels, the drum dryer is the only effective device also designed for industrial drying of wet post-sawmill sawdust, wood chips, peat and for the production of pellets or fuel briquettes as a clean and renewable alternative and highly ecological fuel.
The dried material gets into the drying drum through the material conveyor connected with the batching worm by the loading link. In the drying drum, the fundamental drying process is realized.
The rotary movement of the drum causes the spreading of material in the drum and its movement towards the outlet. Loss of moisture content occurs by direct contact of the dried materials with the mixture of hot air and exhaust gases . The dried material, thanks to the worm drum construction and stream of the drying agent, produced by the main centrifugal fan of the drying plant is torn out of the drum and flows into the discharge chamber and then, when it looses the speed it falls to the bottom of the chamber. With the use of discharge worm, depending on the intended use, the material is transported to the outside or to the hammer mill, where it is subjected to the fragmentation of the desired fractions.
As a standard, the discharge from the transport of the pneumatic air and drying air in the form of water vapor is realized with the use of transport cyclones, ended with the ventilation chimney. The degree of the contamination depends only on the type of dried material and its physical and chemical composition. Purification of dustiness is done mechanically by a system of transport – dust removal cyclones, according to the mechanical efficiency of cyclones. In case of the need of additional purification of transport or drying air, it is also necessary to install the special system of air purification and filtration with the external set of column filters downstream the drying plant.
• Assumed rated efficiency at the initial humidity of the grinded RDF from 35% to 20% of the humidity content – 6 – 8 t/h
