AIC - Model PL-TERM-SG/TX-E -Terminating & Moisture Protection Enclosure for Submersible Liquid Level Transducers
For installations in exposed locations such as reservoirs and locations where there is a high ambient humidity, the cable should be terminated in a enclosure such as the PL-TERM-SG/TX-E.
This enclosure provides a entry cable gland for the transmitter cable and another gland for system cabling to exit. There is a vent that allows atmospheric reference to be maintained but controls water ingress i.e. the interior of the enclosure and the open end of pressure sensor vent tube are at atmospheric pressure.
The junction box allows the vented cable to be terminated and the cable can now be extended without using further vented cable. The vent tube itself must enter the enclosure.
Four junction connectors are provided making this enclosure suitable for 2,3 or 4 wire sensors.
