Airbox - Model PO1839 -Air Sampling Head
A one piece construction of the base piece with the outlet and hose connection. This prevents water leaking around the threads of a luer type fitting and onto the filter from condensation in humid sampling areas or if a mister is used in the sampling space. This can and does happen with some competitors sampling heads. The shape of the plastic piece that some use allows water to pool up around the air hose connector.
The size and shape of the hose fitting is the same as that of the disposable plastic sampling heads, eliminating the necessity of two different size hoses or she side connections.
The porous plastic support pad in combination with the shape of the sampling head gives a more even spread of air across the sampling filter compared with the filter supports with a large open grid and shallow space behind the filter, that some competitors use. This latter design, tends to give a higher concentration of airflow and particle deposit at the very center of the filter.
The porous plastic support pad is washable and reusable.

- Available with lightweight conductive aluminium cowl.
- Uses 25mm membrane filters of 0.8um or 1.2 um.
- Simply unscrew and load the paper filter in.
- Virgin PTFE “O” ring and support pad, easy to clean, robust.
