AliBio - Wastewater Treatment Equipment With Trickling Filter
AliBio has implemented a technology for wastewater treatment that combines the use of biological filters or trickling filters with an activated sludge system to achieve adequate treatment of wastewater. This system is easy to use and reduces operating costs because it is adaptable to changes in the discharge flow.
The trickling filter is a non submerged fixed-film biological reactor using rock or plastic packing over which wastewater is distributed continuously. Treatment occurs as the liquid flows over the attached biofilm. The biological community in the filter includes aerobic and facultative bacteria, fungi, algae and protozoans.
AliBio uses an innovative plastic packaging design in our processing systems, so that we can increase treatment capacity, as well as obtain better efficiencies in the process due to major contact areas compared with rock packages. The plastic packaging IS also suitable for trickling filters to have various shapes and depths.
