Sterlitech - Alumina Oxide Membranes

Membranes of anodized alumina feature fast filtration, efficient separation and high purity. The inorganic material presents a high number of tightly controlled pores in honeycomb shape and high porosity. Alumina oxide is free of organic extractables and leachables and shows minimum adsorption. Pore sizes of 20 nm, 0.1 µm and 0.2 µm are available. Virtually transparent when wet, the material shows minimal autofluorescence. These properties and as particles are retained on the surface, make AluminaOxide membranes ideal for microscopic analysis. Being non-cytotoxic, the material presents good growths conditions for cell cultures.
