Soil Core Catchers are used to minimize sample loss during recovery in dry, loose soil, as well as in very saturated materials, sludges, and sediments. 2" Soil Core Catchers are used with Core, Split Core, and Sludge & Sediment Samplers. 1" Soil Core Catchers are used with the sand & sediment probe.
