PycnoPlast - Model Pycno 844 -Anti-Fogging Masterbatch

Fields of application: Extruded films and sheets from LDPE or LLDPE. Examples: Food wrap films. Mode of action: PYCNO 488 contains a very effective antifogging additive.  The antifog additive reduces formation of water droplets on plastic surfaces and as a result improves the transparency of the film or sheet.

  • Dosing level: The recommended dosing rate depends on the substrate, processing conditions and application. Trials are always required to establish the let-down ratio of this masterbatch. Typical dosing level is 3 - 5%.
