Aquareg - Model AC -Oil Trap
The AC oil trap prevents oil, gasoline, diesel, lubricants, fuel oil, and other substances from the highway and carwash from leaking into the natural environment. These substances have a specific gravity less than water, which the oil catcher uses as a principle of functioning. Using gravity and a built-in coalescent filter, it separates light liquid from the water.
Impact:
When storm water drains from the road, the water in the oil trap flows through the overflow and the retention basin. With heavy rainfall, too much water is diverted to the rain cover. The retention pool retains the first wave of contaminated water and slowly drains it into the oil trap. The separated oil is collected on the surface and the purified water is poured through the valve into the environment. In case of major oil spills, the safety valve closes the drain so that the oil does not pollute the environment.
Installation:
The Aquareg AC oil trap is buried in the ground on a drive or non-drive surface. Rainwater from the roads in front of the oil trap is equipped with rain overflows and a retention basin, which simultaneously serves as a precipitate. The oil trap must be installed in a place accessible for maintenance. A 200 I / s rainfall was taken into account. Ha.
