Shafts are used in wastewater systems for gravity drainage from households, rainwater and wastewater from industrial plants. The most common ones are semi prefabricated circular shafts, which are extremely waterproof, light weight and easy to install, but also very affordable. Cascade shafts are used in wastewater systems to reduce pipeline inclination for gravity drainage water from household, rainwater and wastewater from industrial plants. Saddle tangential shafts are used for larger diameter pipes. They are used for gravity drainage water from household, rainwater and wastewater from industrial plants. Calming shafts are used in sewage systems to reduce the flow rate of wastewater through the pipeline. The reduction of speed is achieved by the wastewater entering the shaft from the side and making a circular flow along the window panes (calm down) and continuing the flow through the outlet pipe. It is used for gravity drainage of domestic, stormwater and industrial wastewater. The inspection shafts allow ventilation, cleaning, maintenance and access to sewer pipes. The most common are semi-prefabricated circular windows, which, in addition to excellent watertightness, light weight and easy installation, are also affordable.

Road sand traps are used for water drainage and retention of heavier solids (sand), which are being washed down from fixed surfaces.

The oil trap prevents oil, gasoline, diesel, lubricants, fuel oil and some other substances from leaking into the natural environment. These substances have a specific gravity less than water, which this light fluid separator uses as a principle of operation. Using gravity and a built-in coalescent filter, it separates light liquids and sludge from the water. The oil trap does not separate the water-soluble substances or the stable emulsions as this requires chemical treatment. Their use is obligatory at all gas stations, parking lots, car wash, mechanic shops and elsewhere where there is a danger of light liquids leaking into nature. The Aquareg oil catcher meets the requirements of BAS EN 858 1-2.

Road grits are used to drain water and retain heavy solids (sand) that are flushed out of the fixed surfaces.

The water thus purified is generally poured into a larger wastewater treatment plant. The oil collector meets the requirements of DIN 1999, Part 1, 2 and 3.

Air purifying filters are becoming a standard addition to biological wastewater treatment plants. The biological device works optimally if aerobic processes take place (where enough oxygen is dissolved in the water), if there are enough nutrients in the water and where the water is not contaminated with toxic substances that destroy the microorganisms. In the event that the purification device does not function optimally, anaerobic processes begin, where hydrogen sulfide (H2S) is formed, which stinks even at very low concentrations. If the purifier is equipped with an air filter, we prevent the odor from spreading to the environment.
