The Free Chlorine Analyzer is connected directly via RS485 communication interface, providing simple, reliable, cost-saving process data with remote monitoring, calibration, configuration and diagnostics capabilities. Free Chlorine meter in a robust IP68 proof enclosure, 1500 N tensile strength Kevlar reinforced cable, up to 1.2 km digital data transmission, the transmitter is ideally used in water/wastewater industry.

Measurement Method

  • SMR03-1: The free chlorine contained in the medium diffuses through the membrane and is reduced atcathode. The current is proportional to the free chlorine concentration.
  • SMR03-2: The amperometric electrode measurement cell consists of two combination probes that uses a platinum anode and a copper cathode electrode to amperometrically measure free residual chlorine, There is no need for chemical reagents, and the glass balls inside rotates continuously to remove the hydrogen gas from the electrodes. An electrochemical reaction occurs within these electrodes, based on the available chlorine concentration, generating a propotional current. No reagen and membrane, not affected by pressure and flow velocity, auto cleaning and is able to install conductivity and ORP electrode.
