Armtec - Stormwater Treatment/Detention Systems
Armtec’s stormwater treatment systems remove grit, trash, oil, heavy metals and other contaminants from surface drainage. Systems are installed in conjunction with a stormwater collection system, and are designed to meet site-specific flow, removal efficiency and target particle size requirements.
Vortechs and VortSentry treat stormwater pollutants through hydrodynamic separation, a widely accepted process for removing sediment, floatables and free oil and grease. These cost-effective products are compact, easy to install and inspect, and allow for unobstructed maintenance access.
Armtec’s StormFilter is a filtration solution designed to meet the most stringent regulatory requirements. StormFilter removes the most challenging target pollutants, including total suspended solids (TSS), soluble heavy metals, oil and grease, and total nutrients.
Oil/water separation products such as VortClarex and Oil Stop Valves capture oil in stormwater and keep it onsite, away from the environment.
Armtec is a Canadian distributor for CONTECH Stormwater Solutions.
Armtec’s stormwater detention systems capture and store stormwater in underground tanks, where it is detained for the storm period and then recharged to the ground or discharged to a collector system.
Stormwater detention systems are custom-made to suit any site plan, and can be manufactured from corrugated steel pipe, Ultra Flo pipe, HDPE pipe, HDPE chambers, concrete pipe or concrete box structures. The diameter, size and configuration of the underground pipe storage system is designed to optimize storage taking into account land area, depth of burial, storage required and discharge or recharge rate required.
