Schiller - Assembly Station
In every production process, parts are joined together to form a whole at the end. In most cases, high precision and repeatability are required. For medium and high quantities, it is worth automating these recurring processes. SCHILLER AUTOMATION has been developing individual assembly cells for this purpose for over four decades. Depending on the requirements, the pick and place positions are measured with cameras to ensure the highest accuracy during joining. Component-specific, exchangeable grippers or suction cups ensure the injury-free transport of the components. The integrated X-/Y-/Z-/θ-handling transports the components quickly and safely to the desired installation position.
Based on this experience, SCHILLER AUTOMATION ehas developed a modularized assembly cell. The experience gained has been incorporated into the basic structure, the extensions are developed on a needs-specific basis.
The transport medium for the workpieces can be freely selected, as can the material preparation and metering.
