PCS Equilibar - Model ULF (Ultra Low Flow) Series -Back Pressure Regulators

These ULF control valves are based on Equilibar’s multi-orifice design. It has 4 inlet orifices, just like all other Research Series back pressure regulators. The difference between the ULF regulator and the standard Low Flow Series is that the ULF units has only one single outlet orifice. The single outlet orifice reduces the Cv value, therefore achieving an excellent ultra-low-flow performance. The diaphragm slightly deforms over the orifice, resulting in low flow. Proper setting of the diaphragm optimizes the sealing capacities and low flow performance.Rebuilding ULF units into ZF unitsIf your application requires the regulating of pressure with zero flow, you might want to select the ZF series. What is special about the ULF models is that users can choose to convert the ULF regulator into a ZF regulator with only 2 spare parts, if your application or experiments would require it. It takes only a few minutes to rebuild the unit and it doesn’t take any tuning (see videos!).
