MION - Bag Filters
The bag filters have a wide use in almost all industrial installations. They consist essentially of a series of permeable sleeves that ensure the passage of gases but not particles. They are effective for particle sizes below one micron and then for all ecological and recovery uses in industrial sectors: food processing, textiles, chemicals, iron and steel industry, foundries, cement plants, paper processing, and wherever dry bulk materials are used.
The dusty air is fed to the filter section after passing through a calm room, which has the task of breaking down large particles of pollutants and distribute the airflow evenly over the filter section. This ensures a more efficient removal of particulate and prevents clogging of the sleeves.
The filter elements are made up of suitably sized baskets and a sleeve of filtering fabric whose characteristics are determined according to each specific application taking into account the operating temperature, the degree of abrasion and the type of particles in the air. The coupling of the filter to the "Venturi", in solidarity with the upper diaphragm, is practical and od easy and fast execution; particular, this, that allows to contain assembly and maintenance costs significantly. As the dust settles on the surface of the filter, at work, the filter is cleaned by a counter-cyclical cleaning system using compressed air. The dusts can be conveyed by a screw to collection bins or otherwise.
The construction provides modular panels of galvanized steel, stainless steel AISI 304-316, cor.ten a, or special steel on demand. Special insulated versions or with internal corrosion-wear treatments.
