Baghouse Silica Dust Material Handling Using Vacuum Transfer System
Fine Airborne Silica Dust is Eliminated. Integrel for Respirable Crystalline Silica Mitigation. Supports Worker Friendly Plant Hygine. IAC Designs, Fabricates, & Installs the Vacuum Transfer System to Easily Retrofit Existing Plants. Can Also be Used as a Plant Dust Spill Central Vacuum Clean-up System.
Vacuum Transfer Systems for Silica Sand Waste Dust & Fines Removal
Let IAC provide a labor saving, environmentally safe, turnkey solution to capture and pneumatically convey waste dust and fines from troublesome collection points within your plant, and transfer them to a dedicated waste silo, or other accumulation point with automated truck loadout, for removal from the property.
IAC’s Vacuum Transfer Systems are designed to convey waste material to the accumulation point, with 100% safety factor in design, to rapidly deal with surges and unwanted slugs of material.
Automated Control System
Built in pressure sensors and automated controls allow remote monitoring of the vacuum transfer system. The system can be programed for continuous cycling of each waste dust pick up point, or time delayed for non-continuous cycling. Easily displayed in existing control rooms.

Fabricated Structural Steel Support Frame and Racks, Service Platforms, Safety Rails, Man Ladders with OSHA Compliant Safety Cages or Fall Arrest Systems.
OSHA standard C.F.R.1926.1153(d)(2)(i) requires employers to use dust control systems, and restrict housekeeping practices, to prevent employees from overexposure to respirable crystalline silica above the permissible exposure limit of 50 ug/m, averaged over an eight hour day.
IAC’s highly skilled pneumatic systems engineers and construction teams have designed and installed numerous retrofit vacuum transfer systems in a variety of industrial plants including frac sand, cement, and steel. Let our team help yours to prevent worker overexposure to respirable crystalline silica (RCS).
Vacuum Transfer Systems are less expensive than most company managers believe, and provide an almost immediate return on investment in labor hours saved and potential health and environmental fines avoided.
IAC is a complete solution provider that will work with your team to provide project management, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning services.
We can also provide service after the installation. Our specialized pneumatic technicians are OSHA trained and experienced in working in confined spaces and elevated structures.
IAC’s centrally located fabrication facilities are in close proximity to our engineering and corporate office, resulting in improved communication and quality control.
State of the art equipment including CNC laser and plasma cutting tables, press brakes to 350 ton, TIG/ MIG/SUBARC welders, tank rolls, overhead cranes, stainless safe areas, and modern painting booths ensure top quality, fit and finish. IAC can also fabricate related items for your project, to your own prints, while building your IAC equipment.
