The aim of the grate is to remove contamination, which are in the form of constant substance, from sewage. The standard gap between rods amounts to 20 mm. The grate is mounted in the part of the well, where sewage are supplied by pipe channel.

The grate, where rakings are stopped, moves on runners from stainless steel. Its unloading consists in elevation by means of electric block above the ground level ( covering slab of catch pit) till the extreme position, by which follows automatic deflexion and dumping of the contents to the container. The level of unloading is adjusted to typical size of trash containers.
