Berg - Clamp-on Flow Meters
The acoustic attachable flowmeter is suitable for fixed installation for continuous measurements. Two ultrasonic transducers are mounted on the pipe and connected to the electronic unit by a signal cable Thanks to this strap-on technology, these ultrasonic transducers can be installed in just a few minutes. Time-consuming cutting of the pipe is not necessary. This means that pressure losses and process downtimes can be avoided, and operating costs optimized.
The meter uses the proven and precise ultrasonic transit time difference method. By using the latest digital signal processors, the flow sensor operates extremely accurately and virtually drift-free.
Since the sensors do not come into contact with the medium, the measurement is 100% contamination-free and thus absolutely hygienic. This is particularly interesting for volume measurements of food and pharmaceutical products. When measuring toxic or environmentally harmful liquids, there are no additional sealing surfaces or dead volumes.
