The ExDetector HC 200 probe is used to measure the current concentration of explosive gases and vapors. With the ExDetector HC 200, combustible gases and vapors can be detected in the measuring range from 0 to 100 % LEL. The measuring principle is based on catalytic combustion (pellistor).

The ExDetector HC 200 is stand-alone capable, i.e. it can independently initiate protective measures without the additional use of an evaluation unit. It can also be connected conventionally to an evaluation center.
The ExDetector HC 200 can be used in Ex zone 2.
