BioBoost - Degreaser and Activator 2 Pack System
BioBoost Degreaser & Activator is a bio-enhanced product for eliminating the build-up of troublesome fats, oils and grease in the drainage systems of restaurants, hotels, canteens and other food production areas. Fats, oils and greases cause problems with safe and efficient operation. They cause hygiene and odour issues and can prove expensive to resolve. The BioBoost system is a safe, economic and proven method compared to alternatives. BioBoost Degreaser & Activator uses four unique benign strains of bacillus spores which biologically produce enzymes to break down the grease and fat. The product performance is significantly increased using the unique dosing equipment and a nutrient blend. The bacillus species are multiplied and enhanced before dosing, significantly reducing the amount of liquid products required and maximizing and improving the performance.

- The optimum fermentation time for the bacteria is 23 hours and at this period over 90 billion active bacteria are produced and flushed into the grease trap per cycle.

Dosing
Typical application will be to wall mount the BioBoost dispensing unit local to the grease trap or main sink or drain line that empties into the grease trap. The dispensing unit should be set up to dose product at the period of lowest flow; usually after clean up to allow maximum retention times in the system. Timers are usually set to activate at night.
Each BioBoost cycle uptakes equal amount of BioBoost degreaser and activator. Once the fermentation time has been completed the BioBoost dispensing unit will automatically flush the activated bacillus bacteria. Please see instruction manual for operation and installation of the unit.
The addition of disinfectants to the grease trap will affect the efficiency of the product, and use of bleach should be avoided 4 hours before kitchen shut down. Temperatures in the grease trap below 15ºC should also be avoided.
Handling & Storage
Always consult the manufacturer’s safety data sheet for full handling details and personal protective equipment. Store in a cool and dark place at 20ºC.
Service
Field Representatives will work closely with customer personnel to assure the effective application of the water treatment programme. Regular service calls can be provided by qualified personnel.

BioBoost Degreaser & Activator treatments are shipped in 5 litre and 25 litre drums.
