Giano BC1 is a sequential sampler with Black Carbon analyzer in real time directly on the sampling filter. Born from the collaboration between PM_Ten, a spin-off of the University of Genoa that followed the design, and Dado lab, which engineered and implemented the system in its sequential sampler, Giano BC1 is the first PMx sampling system in the world capable of determining the Black Carbon concentration in real time directly on the sampled filter.
