Two-Ram Baler -Â Bollegraaf Two-Ram Baler
Bollegraaf Two-Ram Balers are designed to process large, bulky materials. They produce high-density and homogeneous bales while keeping baling time and energy usage to a minimum. How it works: Material is deposited into a large hopper leading to the bale chamber. There it gets compressed by two pre-press flaps. Afterwards, the main ram presses the material against a hard wall on the opposite side. A retractable door blocks the exit path to ensure that the material is enclosed from all sides. This results in denser bales compared to a conventional channel baler, especially with tough and elastic materials. Once the material has been compressed into the desired bale dimensions, the retractable door opens and a secondary ram (later called: eject ram) ejects the bale, ready to be tied, wrapped or bagged. Advantages: Higher bale density Reduced baling time Able to bale a wide variety of material Capable to handle large, bulky material Low energy usage Optimized life cycle costs
