BORINModel STELTH 1 -Solid-State Reference Electrodes

SHARE

The STELTH 1 Solid-State Reference Electrode by BORIN Manufacturing is designed for use in various challenging environments, including water, buried saturated-soil, and submerged conditions. This reference electrode addresses the limitations faced by traditional chemistries when hydrocarbons are present. Utilizing a palladium-based chemistry, it is engineered to resist hydrocarbon interference, which affects copper, silver, and zinc electrodes. BORIN's STELTH 1 features a small rounded ceramic tip that ensures optimal contact in high moisture settings. It has a high-impact ABS structure with a moisture retention membrane and is available with a minimum 30-year service life warranty. The electrode can operate within a wide temperature range and is stable across a pH range of 4 to 9. Different models offer specific chemistries like Palladium-Palladium Chloride, Copper-Copper Sulfate, Silver-Silver Chloride, and Zinc-Zinc Sulfate to suit various chloride environments.

PALLADIUM: Until now, hydrocarbons proved deadly to all available reference electrode chemistries, including industry staples copper, silver, and zinc.
The applications for the new STELTH HCP are limitless.

Problem zones which have stunted use of traditional chemistries is another place the STELTH HCP will succeed – such as areas that have too many parts per million of chlorides for silver reference electrodes.

BORIN‘s premiere offering to the reference electrode market is the STELTH 1 solid-state reference electrode; many decades later, it’s still your ideal choice for use in water, buried saturated-soil or submerged conditions.

The STELTH 1’s small rounded ceramic tip is designed to make complete contact with the environment when there is high water content, a necessity we’ve found after nearly 40 years of research.

Just a few reasons BORIN STELTH solid-state reference electrodes are unique:

  • Never need recharging or re-calibrating
  • Impregnated with membrane that keeps electrolytes from drying out or getting contaminated
  • Trap hydrogen sulfide or excess chloride ions before they cause damage
  • Let you know when you have dangerous levels of AC to deal with
  • Can thrive in ALL environments
  • Remain accurate for their lifetime
  • Won’t die every winter

BORIN stands behind every STELTH reference electrode you buy:

  • We test EVERY SINGLE reference electrode we make
  • You can track/trace any STELTH
  • Every STELTH is calibrated for the life of the cell
  • Our STELTH reference electrodes will work for years and remain stable after you retire
