FLOWMATIC - Model 02 -Bulk Bag Filling System
The FlowMatic® 02 big bag filling system incorporates an inflatable containment seal and height adjustable bulk bag hanging hooks. The height of the hooks can be adjusted with a pneumatic cylinder which provides optimal tensioning of the FIBC during filling operation. The pneumatic tensioning cylinder also enables the packaging of bulk bags with varying dimensions. The filling head is designed with a double casing to ensure prevention of back pressure and dust emissions to the outside atmosphere. The FlowMatic® 02 super sack filler has a filling rate of 10 to 20 bulk bags per hour. The width of the hanging hooks is manually adjustable, which further administers proper tensioning of the bulk bag and accommodation of varying FIBC dimensions. Therefore, both height and width adjustments ensure optimal and stable filling operation. The inflatable seal fixes the bulk bag spout to the station during the filling process and allows high flow rates to be processed.
Operation procedure:
- Installation of the bulk bag on the packaging station hooks
- The spout of the FIBC is positioned on the inflatable seal for containment and stability.
- Tensioning of the bulk bag with the pneumatic cylinder height adjustment
- Bulk bag filling commences
- Gradual lowering of the bulk bag by means of an exhaust valve
- The bulk bag comes to rest on the pallet which promotes stability of the bulk bag during handling
- Spout filling seal is deflated and the bulk bag is ready to be removed for transportation
- The bulk bag / FIBC can be removed via pallet or forklift truck.

The FlowMatic® 02 bulk bag filling station includes an inflatable containment seal and an adjustable bulk bag hanging deck in height via a pneumatic cylinder. The entire adjustable structure allows the conditioning of bulk bags of different heights according to product densities. The filling head is designed with a double casing to ensure the balance of back pressure during discharge of material as well as avoiding any dust emission to outside atmosphere.
The tension cylinder ensures optimal shape of the bulk bag is maintained during the filling operation. The bottom of the bulk bag remains flat so it is safe to handle without the risk of tipping over.
