Clevebio - Model Amnite K100 -Bulking Sludge Biochemical Pre-Treatment

The product is added as a dry powder directly to the aeration basin at a point giving the maximum possible rapid mixing and dispersion throughout the mixed liquors. The product is most effective when the operating conditions in the treatment plant are close to the optimum conditions listed below:

Amnite K100 is ideal for application as a "fire-fighting" agent to treat bulking sludges caused by the presence of an excessively high proportion of filamentous organisms in the biomass. The product not only inhibits the growth of filamentous organisms but also disrupts long filaments and surface scum.

Amnite K100 is a fine powder formulated to control the filamentous organisms found in bulking sludges. The product is intended to be applied as a pre-treatment prior to using Amnite K150. The combined Amnite K100/K150 treatment programme greatly improves the sludge settling characteristics. The product is homogeneous and safe to use. It does not contain any hazardous chemicals.
