January 2025

In 2025, Rovtech completed the acquisition of the VALOR ROV business from Seatronics. With the addition of this advanced, field-proven platform to its offering, Rovtech is now uniquely positioned to deliver end-to-end solutions for inspection, intervention and monitoring, both offshore and within high-risk, high-integrity environments.

October 2024

John Polson - one of the energy sector’s top young leaders - was appointed as Chief Executive Officer at Rovtech as the business aimed to accelerate the global expansion of nuclear energy and offshore wind.

September 2024

Rovtech was acquired by climate tech venture studio Ventex in 2024. This strategic partnership brought renewed investment, an ambitious growth strategy, and a shared vision for applying proven engineering expertise to support the global energy transition.
