BUSCH SAFOX - Model G -Penstock with Smooth Sole Passage
The SAFOX G is characterised by a smooth sole passage. This qualifies it for connections in a manhole, as it can be concreted into the channel without any problems and guarantees a level water flow. The patented SAFOX sealing principle also comes into play here: the seal is completely independent of the frame. This separation ensures that the SAFOX G seals perfectly.

Standard pressure level for pressure on the front or back sides of the slide plate:
- DN 150 to DN 300: 10 mwc
- DN 400 to DN 800: 8 mwc
- DN 900 to DN 1200: 7 mwc
- More than DN 1200: 6 mwc
- Higher pressure level possible

- Frame and plate: Stainless steel 1.4301 (304) / 1.4404 (316L) / 1.4410 (A182 F53) / 1.4462 (A182 F51)
- Spindle: Stainless steel 1.4301 (304) / 1.4404 (316L) / 1.4410 (A182 F53) / 1.4462 (A182 F51) / 1.4057 (431)
- Spindle nut: Seawater resistent bronze (GC-CuSn 12) / Red brass RG7
- Seal: Up to and including DN 600 made of TPE (thermoplastic elastomer), from DN 700 made of EPDM (wastewater and UV-resistant)

Leak rate according to drinking water standard DIN EN 12266-2, Part 2, Table A.5:
