The SAFOX penstock achieves maximum sealing performance thanks to its patented sealing system. The floating sealing ring seals perfectly to the wall and to the slide plate. It compensates for structural tolerances beyond DIN 18202.

The SAFOX G is characterised by a smooth sole passage. This qualifies it for connections in a manhole, as it can be concreted into the channel without any problems and guarantees a level water flow. The patented SAFOX sealing principle also comes into play here: the seal is completely independent of the frame. This separation ensures that the SAFOX G seals perfectly.

The SAFOX F is specially manufactured for mounting on a pipe flange. Here, also, the patented SAFOX sealing principle comes into play: the seal is completely independent of the frame. Due to this separation, the SAFOX F seals perfectly, both to the wall and to the slide plate.

The XL4 penstock is one of our large penstocks. It ensures optimum tightness even in very large installation situations. The complete seal is located on the slide plate. This makes it easy to replace the entire seal by pulling out the slide plate even during operation.

The XL 4 semicircular guarantees a high sealing quality due to the seal attached to the slide plate. The semicircular base enables easy concreting into the channel, ensuring a level water flow.

Big penstock are exposed to high forces. The high stability and reliability of the XL3 channel penstock are guarantor for a trouble-free and satefy operation of your plant. Due to the pre-stressed sealing gives the XL3 channel penstock an extraordinary sealing performance in onseating conditions as well as in off-saeting conditions. The light, but warp resistant plate and the frame, which is used as sealing surface gives the XL this outstanding sealing performance. The sealing is located on the plate. A necessary change of the sealing is anytime possible by pulling out the plate. The XL3 is available in every intermediate size up to 4000 x 4000mm. The XL3 is also available as a lowering type.

Lowering type penstocks get open by moving the plate downwards. The water will flow over the plate when the penstock is open. Lowering type penstocks get used in application, where it is important to hold the water-level defined.

Easy installation in front or inside channels and superior corrosion resistance make CP3 your first choice for all channel applications. The pre-tensioned sealing is tight even under low seating or unseating head conditions giving CP3 its outstanding sealing qualities.
