SISMAT - Cable-Operated Grab Water Screens

In general, it consists of a frame, a fixed screen and a scraping system. The rake is driven by a cable. The motion is controlled at the upper and lower points. Counter-cleaning is automatically carried out by a counter scraper when the screen rake is at the upper position, at the exact returning point.

The driving gear consists of an actuator mounted on the frame in order to activate the screen rake, a reducer, drum and cables. The motion is transferred from the reducer to the screen via the drum and cables mechanism. The system is equipped with torque switch against torque.

Where the water level is high, this is the best solution. It is widely preferred and implemented in pumping stations where level differences are high.
