This Enviro-USA boom works great for oil spills in Calm Water & Light Current applications such as ponds, streams, ditches, canals, brooks, creeks, swamps and slow rivers.

Why use Fast Deployment Oil Containment Booms versus Standard Booms?
Oil containment booms are used in calm water as a first response to an oil spill or by Spill Response Contractors to divert, control and maintain an oil spill. Once the spill has been contained the contractor will then proceed to recover and clean up the oil. The main advantage of using a Fast Deployment boom is the reduced time it takes to deploy thanks to the use of a reel system.

10” FAST DEPLOYMENT Oil Containment Boom was designed for fast deployment and 1,000 ft can be deployed in about 8-10 minutes. FAST DEPLOYMENT boom is stored and deployed from a Manual or Hydraulic Reel. A small compact manual reel can store around 300’ of this boom. This reel can be maneuvered around and all 300’ deployed by one person. This boom is a favorite by inland marinas as its light weight, easily to store and deploy and it’s very affordable.

Enviro-USA’s 10” River FAST DEPLOYMENT Oil Containment Boom has a top tension cable thereby providing greater tensile strength and is most often used for oil spills in slow current rivers, and of course can also be used for all of the above listed applications.
